Toshiba will be unveiling its Regza AT700 Tablet
Toshiba recently announced that it will launch the slimmest tablet in the world (10-inch) at the Consumer Electronics Show which will be held next week.
A spokesman from Toshiba said, “This is the thinnest tablet and the lightest in the list of products to be introduced at the show.” Toshiba will also be announcing its new range of products such as the LCD TV and its Ultrabook notebooks.

Currently, Toshiba refused to give further details about the launch but according to reports, these tablets are already in the Japanese market with a price tag of $ 800, as reported by CNET.
The tablets known as the Regza AT700 will be powered by Android 3.2. The tablet was first introduced in October last year at the CEATEC show in Tokyo. This new device has a thickness of 7.7mm, 13 percent thinner than the 8.8 mm iPad2. Regza AT700 weighs 613 grams and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor produced by Texas Instruments. It has an internal storage capacity of 32GB with 1GB of memory.
This device is also equipped with 2 megapixel front-facing camera and a main 5-megapixel camera. Touch screen display contains 1280X800 resolutions.
If the claims that the Regza AT700 tablet has a price tag of U.S. $ 800 (RM 2518) then it would be quite expensive and could only be affordable to high-end users.
