HTC launches HTC One series smartphones in Malaysia and Taiwan
HTC launched its flagship smartphones the HTC One X and HTC One V in the Taiwanese market recently. Initial shipments are set to begin in April 2nd. HTC will collaborate with three local carriers – Chunghwa Telecom (CHT), Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) and Taiwan Mobile to promote the products.

Jack Tong, the vice president of HTC Asia stated that the pre-sale orders of the HTC One X have reached 50,000 since the device was available for subscription in March 20.
The HTC One X, which features impressive image processing capabilities and also deliver great music experience to users as well as the precise timing of the launch would inevitably raise the HTC One X as the top selling phone in the Taiwanese market, explained Tong.
According to industry sources the HTC One X unlocked version is available for a suggested retail price of US$706 (RM2158) and the HTC One V at US$369 (RM1128).
On the Malaysian side of the HTC story, a tech blog Soyacincau stated that the Malaysian launch will be held in the first week of April and specifically the trios – HTC One X, HTC One S and HTC One V will be introduced to the Malaysian media by April 2 and should be in local stores by April 6. Soyacincau stated these recommended prices for the HTC phones – RM2,099 for the HTC One X, RM1,899 for the HTC One S and perhaps below RM1,000 for the HTC One V.
