Huawei Honor is coming to town in December
Huawei Honor will be officially launched in Malaysia at the same time as China, Russia, Indonesia and Singapore possibly as early as December. The Honor is fully packed with Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread) skinned with Huawei’s proprietary UI – the Huawei Android Platform 5.1 (HAP 5.1).
HAP 5.1 is believed to have been equiped with state of the art icons and widgets and amazing 3D transitions for your much loved tracks. Backing up is easy with the available SD card, so apps, contacts, messages, call logs and settings can easily be stored here. Then, comes the social media – a view of your favourite social feed can easily be made in a convenient one-page display.
The Honor is powered by a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm processor and a 512MB of RAM (4G ROM memory epandable to 32GB) and offering a 4-inch FWVGA capacitive screen (854X480) display. It is also equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera (main) and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. It has a massive 1930 mAh (Atrix 4G) battery capable of powering the device for at least three days. There are also WiFi support, Bluetooth, GPS and FM Radio.
A range of colours is available for the Android Honor – glossy black, textured black, elegant white, vibrant yellow, cherry blossom pink and burgundy. Pricing of Honor is still being withheld, but it could be below the RM1000 mark if I am right. In the US, the Honor is priced at USD300, equivalent to RM954.
