Most affordable dual core smartphone from Samsung Galaxy S Advance
The phone is similar in appearance to the Galaxy Nexus but with mid-level specs. It is also priced significantly less than the Nexus or S II, some rumours stated that it is priced at 30% less that the Galaxy S II.
These are some of the comments that I managed to collect in and around the web as regards to the new Samsung device.Click Here!
- According to Sylvia Chind, head of handsets at a UK mobile phone outlet stating that the the new Samsung smartphone would “combine eye-catching design with powerful technology specs that make for an outstanding smartphone experience“.
- Samsung also remarked, “Designed for those who define themselves by the phone they carry, the GALAXY S Advance strikes a balance of style, power and performance. It will be available in Russia starting from February, and then be gradually rolled out in CIS, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Southeast and Southwest Asia, Latin America and China.”
These are the specs directly quoted from Samsung:

The GALAXY S Advance also features Find My Mobile, a unique lost-phone management system that ensures secure phone data encryption in case of phone loss, and that enables users to trace their lost phone directly via the Web or even delete the device’s data remotely.
The Samsung Galaxy S Advance is rumoured to be released in UK soon and will be sold for £300. No news on when is the device made available in Malaysia but according to Samsung, it could be launched as early as February. Pricing is also unavailable at the time of writing this entry but if the claim that the Galaxy Advance is to be sold 30% cheaper than S II, then let do the math – The cheapest Galaxy S II that I know is currently priced at RM1650 and if we are to take 30% of the price, we will get approx RM 1155. With that price tag, it is still relatively expensive for a mid level smartphone. I don’t know about you, but I would say a price tag of RM650-850 is a reasonable price for the device. Click Here!
