The mid range smartphone HTC One V is launched in Malaysia

The HTC One V is introduced in Malaysia at the same time with the unveiling of its big brother, the HTC One X on April 2^nd. The One V is a mid-range Android smartphone with a 3.7-inch display.

The resolution on the screen of the One V is 400 X 800 pixels and measured at 120.3 X 59.7 X 9.24mm and only weigh at 115g.The One V’s unique curve at the bottom of the device made it convenient to hold it against your face when making calls.

Under the hood the One V is powered by a 1GHz processor together with 512MB of RAM, runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich and HTC’s Sense 4.

The device’s camera is only 5MP but equipped with the same imaging technology as the One S. It has a 28mm f/2.0 lens and backside illuminate sensor for capturing images in low light conditions. It is also capable of recording at 720p HD video.

On the audio side, it has the same technology as its big brothers have – Beats Audio sound enhancement.

The HTC One V is equipped with 8GB of internal storage plus a microSD, which is able to accept data up to 32GB. Similar to the One X, it is also bundled with Dropbox cloud storage of 25GB for two years.

The HTC One V is available in Malaysia at the retail price of RM999 but sadly only available in one colour, Jupiter Rock.
