Toshiba AT 200 tablet to be launch in UK next week
Toshiba, the Japanese Electronics company is reported to be launching its super slim AT 200 tablet in the UK next week, the cheapest being the 16MB model at £399 (RM1904)
The tablet is available exclusively with Carphone Warehouse beginning 15 February. Two models will be introduced, a 16MB and a 32GB models. The 32GB will be sold for £449 (RM2142).
The Toshiba AT 200 sports features such as:
- Weight – 1.23 pounds
- Measurement: 7.7mm thickness (0.3 Inches)
- Screen size -10.1 inches
- CPU – Texas Instrument OMAP 4430 1.2 GHz
- RAM – 1 GB
- Operating System: Android 3.2 Honeycomb.
- Multiple connectivity options
- battery: up to 8 hours of battery life
- Adobe Flash 10.3 pre-installed
- microUSB and microSD card ports
- microHDMI port to connect ditecly to HDTVs, monitor or projector.
- Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth
- High Definition LED backlit screen with a resolution of 1280X800 pixels (for viewing high definition video, photographs, games and web content)
- GPS, 3D accelerometer, gyrometer, electronic compass
- Ambient light sensor
- Camera: 5MP rear and 2MP front.
At 7.7mm thick and weighing a mere 558g, the device is slimmer than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and even the Apple’s iPad 2.
