Apple iPad 3 is to be launched March 29 reports rumor mill
This is another rumor but this time according to StarkInsider the source does not come close to the situation, but the rumor itself is very intriguing – Apple is to launch iPad 3 in San Francisco the first week of March!
The ipad 3 is a super fast tablet, so what are you waiting for, get it now! Oops..wait for the launch..
There were many speculations on the dates, some put it on February 29, but the favorite is on March 29. If February 29 is the launch date then it will coincide with Microsoft’s release of Windows 8. It smells like wild predictions but anything could happen at this point.
None of Apple’s employee was able to confirm the dates but as StarkInsider states, “An Apple spokeswoman declined comment on the timing of the event, saying the company does not comment on rumors and speculation.”
The ipad 3 itself is rumored to sport faster quad-core processor; some even speculate an Apple A6 chip – which will surely be a quad-core ARM-based processor, high resolution Retina display and improved camera, Siri features, 4G LTE communications capabilities, iOS 5.1 operating system and many more. A technology blog, techradar states, “Persistent rumours suggest LTE support will be provided for the US. Great for the US, though it will leave the UK behind as there’s no 4G connectivity as yet. Cnet.com believes that the new iPad may feature a Qualcomm 4G LTE Gobi 4000 chip.”
Everybody will be watching at Tim Cook, Apple’s new CEO to achieve his feat as his first main iPad product launch event. He was however commended when he presided over iPhone 4S launch last fall in the US.
