It is time to jailbreak your iPhone 4S or iPad 2

For iPhone 4S and iPod 2 users, who might be looking for a jailbreak solution for their device, might not have to wait any longer since the jailbreak community has finished developing the program and is out of the sandbox stage, which generally indicates an impending release.

Based on a tweet picked up by iDownloadBlog, a hacker known as ‘planetbeing’ says that the jailbreak for these devices has left the sandbox stage of development. He also states that the jailbreak this time is much more complicated than the X-Gold 618. The X-Gold 618 is a baseband chip embedded in the iPhone 4 device cracked by planetbeing and ‘Musclenerd’.

The difficulty of this kind of jailbreak is due to Apple’s move through its updates on iOS 5.0 OS which blocked one of the popular methods of jailbreaking.

With the eventual release of the jailbreak program for both the iPhone 4S and iPad 2, what would you want to do? Jailbreaking your device? I am not even sure if jailbreaking is available in Malaysia.
