Ongkor and the executioner

Three men are about to be executed. Yanak-anak, Gumpirit and Ongkor. Two guards brings Yanak-anak forward, and the executioner asks if he has any last requests.

He says no, and the executioner shouts, “Sedia . . . tepatkan pada sasaran . . .” (“Ready….Aim….”)

Suddenly Yanak-anak yells, “gempah bumi!!” (“Earthquake!!”) Everyone is startled and looks around. He manages to escape.

The angry guards then bring Gumpirit forward, and the executioner asks if he has any last requests. He says no, and the executioner shouts, “Sedia . . . tepatkan pada sasaran . . .” (“Ready . . . Aim . . .”

Gumpirit then screams, “puting beliung!!” (“tornado!!”)  Yet again, everyone is startled and looks around. He too escapes execution.

By this point, Ongkor had figured out what the others did. The guards bring him forward, and the executioner asks if he has any last requests. He also says no, and the executioner shouts, “Sedia . . . tepatkan pada sasaran . . .” (“Ready . . . Aim . . .” ) Ongkor shouts, “tembak!!” (“fire!!” )
