Samsung announces a teaser page on the Next Galaxy

Samsung’s new teaser page for the Next Galaxy has cropped up on the internet. The domain name of the site is also confusing – tgeltaayehxnx.com. The site is actually a funny anagram of the phrase “The Next galaxy”, however, there was no indication in the site that the new device from Samsung is to be called the Samsung Galaxy S III.

So far, we only know that Samsung is going to launch a new smartphone in an event on May 3 in London. The invitation email only stated “Come and meet the next Galaxy” and made no elaboration.

On a visit in the site, I was confronted with a phrase, “Samsung Mobile, Coming Soon, You can take the next step in 10:14:48”. So what is going to happen in ten hours or so from now? Is Samsung finally going to reveal pictures or videos of the Next Galaxy? We will just have to wait ten hours from now and see what really in there for Samsung to unveil.

On other note, the accidental listing of a device from Samsung on Amazon Germany could well be the next Galaxy or Galaxy S III. The website stated in detail about the device sporting a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display and an astounding 12MP camera. Rumors also stated that the next Galaxy could possibly be powered by a Quad-core Cortex A9 Exynos processor.

The Samsung Mobile Facebook page was the site of a somewhat cryptic post a few hours ago. The post simply reads “Destination: tgeltaayehxnx”.

First of all, if you reorder those letters, you come up with “The Next Galaxy”. Also, if you simply add a www. to the beginning and a .com to the end, you get taken to a Samsung Mobile site that reads, “Coming Soon. You can take the next step in:” followed by a countdown timer. [More]
